GabaritKDP is an online service that generates cover templates matching Amazon KDP technical specifications (trim size, spine width, margins, bleed, safe print zones).

The service may integrate third-party design tools (e.g., Canva™); GabaritKDP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon or Canva.

• Free: limited exports, popular formats, watermarked preview
• Pay-per-use: one-off purchase of high-quality exports (PDF without watermark)
• Pro / Unlimited: unlimited exports, early access to new features, premium templates

3. Acceptance of Terms

Using the service implies full acceptance of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute and failing amicable resolution, French courts have jurisdiction. For EU consumers, protective laws of their country of residence may apply.

4. User Account

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Keep credentials confidential.
• Immediately notify any unauthorized use.

We may suspend/limit access in case of abuse (fraud, automated scraping, reverse engineering, bypassing technical limits).

5. Pricing & Payment

Prices are shown in € incl. VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card data.

• Subscriptions: recurring billing until cancellation by the user.
• Pay-per-use: charged at order time (export/credit).
• Taxes: VAT and other taxes may apply depending on your country.
• Invoices: available in your account area.

6. Withdrawal Right & Refunds

Digital content/service delivered immediately: by confirming the purchase you request immediate performance and waive your withdrawal right (French Consumer Code L221-28). Therefore, once activated (e.g., generation or non-watermarked export), payments are non-refundable, unless required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

GabaritKDP software, code, interfaces, templates, and documentation are protected. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license. Reproduction, distribution, resale, or reverse engineering is prohibited without written permission.

Your own content (images, texts) remains yours. The files generated for your books are yours, subject to any third-party rights you include and compliance with Amazon KDP rules.

8. Liability & Warranties

The service is provided “as is”. We use reasonable efforts, without guarantee of uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. We do not guarantee Amazon KDP acceptance of your files.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid over the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, loss of profits. Nothing excludes liability for fraud or personal injury.

9. Maintenance & Service Changes

We may evolve, fix, or discontinue features (including due to third-party dependencies). Planned or emergency interruptions may occur.

Hosting and database operated by Supabase. See the Privacy Policy for processing locations and retention periods.

10. Termination

You may terminate anytime from your account (delete or stop a subscription). Amounts already paid remain due and are non-refundable after digital service activation.

We may suspend or terminate in case of material breach of these Terms. IP, liability, and governing law clauses survive termination.

We process your data in compliance with GDPR. See the Privacy Policy for your rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction), our legal bases, and our processors (including Stripe and Supabase).
