1. Website Publisher
GabaritKDP is a brand operated by the company Sécurité pour Tous (SASU, RCS Paris 888 261 948). Any reference to “GabaritKDP” refers to Sécurité pour Tous acting under this brand.
The publication director is the President of Sécurité pour Tous, acting as the company’s legal representative.
2. Hosting
The gabaritkdp.com website and its subdomains are hosted using infrastructure and database providers (including Supabase for user data hosting, and cloud/CDN providers for front-end and delivery). Detailed technical information (infrastructure address, abuse contact) can be provided to competent authorities upon lawful request.
3. Intellectual Property
All elements available on the GabaritKDP website (text, interfaces, logos, spine calculation logic, technical exports, templates, marketing copy, etc.) are protected by copyright and trademark law, and remain the exclusive property of Sécurité pour Tous / GabaritKDP.
You are not allowed to:
- resell our PDF exports or technical templates ‘as-is’;
- copy our interface, marketing wording, calculation logic, or presentation in order to create a competing service;
- present yourself as an official partner, affiliate, or representative of GabaritKDP.
Your own content (text, images, creative assets) remains yours. Files generated via our tools are yours, subject to respecting third-party rights and the rules of print-on-demand platforms such as Amazon KDP.
4. Personal Data (GDPR)
🔒 Data protection
We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data we collect (email address, export preferences, technical logs, Stripe purchase history, etc.) is processed only to deliver the service, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations.
The data controller is Sécurité pour Tous (SASU, RCS Paris 888 261 948), operating under the brand GabaritKDP.
To exercise your GDPR rights (access, rectification, deletion, portability), you can contact: contact@gabaritkdp.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL).
Payments are processed by Stripe. Credit card details are never stored by GabaritKDP. Technical data and certain generated assets are hosted via Supabase in a secured cloud environment.
5. Limitation of Liability
GabaritKDP tools are intended to assist authors in producing covers that are technically compatible with print-on-demand requirements (e.g. Amazon KDP).
However, we do not guarantee the final acceptance of your book file by Amazon KDP or any other platform. Platform requirements may change without notice.
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GabaritKDP / Sécurité pour Tous shall not be liable for indirect damages, data loss, loss of revenue, or improper use of the service by the user.
Amazon KDP is a trademark of Amazon. Canva is a trademark of Canva Pty Ltd. GabaritKDP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon or Canva.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These legal notices are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and if no amicable resolution can be found, French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
For consumers in the European Union, the consumer-protection rules of their country of residence may apply.
